Dr. Arbab graduated from the University of Khartoum Faculty of Medicine in 1962 and was among those closest to Professor Daoud in internal medicine. He pioneered the establishment of the Internal Medicine Department and introduced endoscopy to Sudan before flexible endoscopes arrived, performing examinations with rigid scopes at the University of Khartoum&#8217;s Ward D2 and later at the Modern Medical Center.
