The congress brought together researchers, clinicians, and public health specialists from across the globe, including a delegation from Sudan, to advance scientific research, strengthen prevention strategies, and deepen international collaboration in the fight against echinococcosis. The scientific programme included original research presentations, clinical case series, epidemiological surveys, and translational findings from contributing nations including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, France, Italy, Japan, Sudan, Turkey, Uruguay, and the United States.
